APSCIL Sunday League - First Division - 2009/2010

The APSCIL Sunday League First Division will this season consist of ten teams, with newly promoted Blackpool SC and Brighton & Hove Albion SC replacing the relegated Hull City SC and London Scottish SC.

The official 2009/10 season commenced for RISSC (London) on Sunday 1 November 2009 with a crushing 6-3 defeat at London Hibs SC. The disappointing start continued with subsequent defeats to current leaders Aberdeen SC at home and away to Norwich City SC. The side suffered severe difficulties, forcing them to concede subsequent scheduled league fixtures against Exeter City and Blackpool.

Following a period of re-structuring, the team resumed competitive football with a 4-2 away victory over Middlesbrough SC to reach the quarter-final stage of the Dave Baister Cup.

Jon Carey will continue in the role of club captain with Michael Dunford filling the vice-captain position.
