The squad will have a rest period upon arrival on the Atlantic island. Butler and his Team Coaches, Padraig Nicholson and Niall Harrison will put the youngsters through their paces with a training session on Wednesday evening followed by both morning and evening sessions on Thursday. The opening games of the tournament will take place on Friday 24 June 2005 at the Estadio Municipal Santiago de Teide. The hosts Tenerife will meet Belgium at 19.00 hours while the Republic of Ireland will face Spain at 20.30 hours. The current Belgium squad is quite strong and it may be remembered that they had both a 2-1 victory and a 2-2 draw with Ireland in Dublin earlier this year. The third place play-off match will feature the two defeated teams from the opening games and will be played on Saturday 25 June 2005 at 19.30 hours in the Estadio Municipal de Puerto Santiago. The final between the victorious teams from the opening fixtures will be played at the same venue on Sunday 26 June 2005 at 11.00 hours. Squad: Support Staff: Doctor:
