Now that the 'under new management' adrenalin of those first competitive contests has subsided somewhat, we present a short cameo of our recent trip to the Scandinavian Peninsula as seen through the eyes of intrepid voyager Cathal (Columbus?) Chu.
Linfield and St Patrick's Athletic draw in Setanta Cup ...02/09/2008
Group Two of the 2008 Setanta Sports Cup remains tight following the one all draw this evening in Windsor Park between Linfield and St Patrick's Athletic. The visitors went in front shortly before half time through Keith Fahey but could not withstand the second half push from the hosts which saw Jamie Mulgrew equalise with just a minute remaining. In tonight's other tie, Derry City had a comfortable two nil victory over Glentoran in the Brandywell, with goals from Ruari Higgins and Mark Farren.
