UEFA Regions Cup 2011

The draw for the Finals of the 2011 UEFA Regions Cup was made in Braga on Wednesday 11 May 2011. The Finals will be hosted by Portugal and will commence on Tuesday 21 June 2011 with the final scheduled for Braga on Tuesday 28 June 2011. Manager Gerry Smith has selected his twenty man squad for the Finals and they will set out for Braga on the morning of Friday 17 June 2011.

UEFA Regions Cup Final - Portugal 2-1 Republic of Ireland

Ireland qualified for the 2011 Finals of the bi-annual UEFA Regions Cup from a very daunting Group 2 where they faced France, Italy and San Marino who hosted the Group, with the qualifying games taking place during October 2010.

The Republic of Ireland Amateur team is selected from Junior and Intermediate Clubs competing in the various Leagues across the country.
